22 Minutes Hard Corps Meal Plan ~ Week 1

Today I officially kick on my 22 Minutes Hard Corp 8-week online accountability group!!  SO excited for this as are all of my challengers.  Who doesn’t have 22 MINUTES to work out??  Even on the days where Core is added, it’s still only 30 minutes of your time…

Hard Corps was created by Tony Horton who also is the creator of P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Power 90 and more.  It is a mixture of eight routines that alternate between total body cardio & resistance 1 workout a day for 6 days a week.  The workout is fast paced and there is little rest.  The workouts are easy to pick up and learn.  You are moving from exercise to exercise quickly to maximize time and results.

I will be posting my 22 Minutes Hard Corps meal plan weekly.  I am following the container counts for this program, but eating according to the 21-Day Fix, meaning 6 times a day with snacks in between meals.  And each color represents a different color coded portion control container.

I am following the 1800-2099 calorie bracket.  I want to maintain my weight and this is one bracket down from when I was doing Hammer and Chisel.  If I feel like I’m starving, I will bump back up to the next bracket but I feel like when I start a new program it’s always trial and error!  You will need to figure out the bracket that is right for you.  And if you are not already actively working with a Beachbody coach and you need help getting started, simply create a FREE Beachbody account with me as your coach HERE!

Here are a couple of the recipes from this week:

Honey Mustard Dressing

1/2 cup reduced fat Greek yogurt

3 TBSP Dijon Mustard

3 TBSP honey

3 TBSP rice vinegar

1/4 cup olive oil

sea salt to taste

Combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil, whisk well to combine.  Slowly add oil until well blended.

Crock Pot Salsa Chicken

Oven-Baked Tacos with Homemade Crispy Taco Shells

Chicken Fajita Tostados
